 Marjanne was raised in the San Fernando Valley; has lived in California except for 1½ years in New Mexico; has lived in Santa Clarita for 20 years. She has a son, Christopher, who is the single parent of her grandchildren, Melissa, 18 and Corey, 15, and a married daughter, Julie, (Jeff Piemonte), and a grandchild, Jenna, 2 yrs old.
Over the past 20 years she has been a member of Desert Streams Church, a Charter Member of Destiny Christian Center and Frontline Community Church; served on the Worship (Music) Team at each church.
Began studying Ballet at age 9; Rio Vista Elementary School; North Hollywood Jr. High (Walter Reed Jr. High); North Hollywood High; Santa Ana College – Ballet; COC – Sociology, French and Ballet; has taken classes in ballet, aerobics, jazzercise, yoga, and pilates.
At age 18 began professional dancing career at The Desert Inn in Las Vegas, Nevada, and then at the Latin Quarter in Miami, Florida, performing with Betty Grable, Jimmy Durante, Gordon and Sheila McCrae, The Ed Sullivan Revue (which included Carol Burnett), The McGuire Sisters, and Sophie Tucker; danced in TV commercials and local theater productions in Santa Barbara.

In July 1997, she helped Co-Found Betty Ferguson Foundation and serves in that capacity today.
Marjanne was nominated for Zonta’s Advancing the Status of Women Award in April, 2008.
